Clean, spacious rooms, friendly staff, and pet friendly hotel in a decent feeling part of downtown. I would stay here again. Detailed Review: We chose this hotel because it was dog friendly and we were traveling with our husky. We stayed three nights and it was overall a good experience. There is a long strip of grass that is shaded for walking the dog. It's just a short walk across the parking lot. There's quite a bit of dog waste though, which is sad. I bring bags and clean up after mine. Perhaps if the hotel provided a clean-up station people would be more responsible. I feel any pet-friendly hotel should do that to help encourage clean-up. We were on the third floor and it was very quiet. I never heard anyone else except for nearby doors closing. Of course, we had the air conditioner and fan on all the time, so there was lots of gray noise. There are railroad tracks close by so you will hear trains go by if you're on that side (which we were) but they weren't bothersome to us. The hotel and room were all very clean and appear to have been recently renovated and modernized. No strong scents (good or bad). Everything in the room worked fine. TV is large, and you can log into your Netflix account and stream if you want to. TV is super slow to react to pushing buttons on the remote, but I find that is common in hotels. Lots of outlets including USB so you can charge all your devices. In the shower they provide body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in pump bottles attached to the shower wall. That's a great way to do it, less waste and you actually have enough product to use. It has a very gender-neutral scent and my husband and I both used it. I usually don't like hotel provided toiletries but these weren't bad. Water pressure in the shower was decent, and plenty of hot water. Bed was comfortable, a medium firm and soft. Couldn't have been too old, it wasn't sagging or anything. Linens were clean and comfortable. Towels were plush and soft. Large vanity in the bathroom with full mirror. We had a king bed and a loveseat with ottoman, which was nice to have. There was also a desk and chair and a mini fridge. Plenty of space for two adults and a dog. There is a coffee maker and coffee (which is only okay). I'd suggest bringing jugs of drinking water because the tap water is absolutely horrible tasting. Makes the coffee taste awful too. I have tap water at home and it's not anywhere near that bad. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Everyone we ran into seemed to love dogs, too. All rooms are interior entry, and some have balconies. There are stairs that exit to the side of the building, and we used those with the dog sometimes because she was afraid of the elevator. The grounds are well kept and they have lovely gardens and flowers all around which makes it feel nice. Parking lot was recently re-surfaced and is in excellent condition. We did not eat or drink at the attached restaurant, and dogs aren't allowed in there. There are several places to get food and adult beverages within walking distance. There are even more options within a short drive. This is a pricey hotel but the quality seems to reflect what they charge. I would certainly pick this place again with our dog.

I didn't even stay there because the first room had a disgusting toilet. The second room's duvet was covered in dirt along with the third room. The front desk was flooded with complaints of people who needed to see the manager, so clearly there were a lot of issues going on. The desk clerk was very nice though.

Had an excellent experience here! Had to stay for a whole month over the holiday's due to work. While I was there, everyone was friendly and helpful, the staff really took care of me. Sam and Tiffany on the front desk made sure I had what I needed and when I had an issue took prompt action. Terri at the bar is a superstar! Nick is a jack of all trades, no telling where you will see him. Doesn't matter though, wherever he is, he is taking care of business! Betty Joe in the restaurant will ensure that you are taken care of as well. Speaking of the restaurant, Karol (chef) got my steaks perfect EVERY time! Last but not least, Crystal in housekeeping made sure I was supplied with the essentials at all times. Also, it is incredible how many rooms she could knock out in a short period of time. Oh! If you like crispy bacon, they definitely have it! Thank you again my Springfield family for putting up with my antics and taking care of me during my extended stay. I don't know if/when I will be returning, but if I do, you know where I'll be staying! Lastly, the other amenities, such as free washing machine ($1 dry), and free laundry products were nice as well.

Booked at the last minute - literally, 10 pm at night - after driving hours. Staff was friendly, welcoming - even directed me right to the hotel while we were on the phone. Room was comfortable, clean, attractive. Nice on-site restaurant and bar. Truly thrilled to see my dogs, which was a bonus. Across the street from an interesting looking food court which I'll try to check out next time I am in town.

The fee wasn't that much and it was well worth it the housekeeper's even had treats for the pup
3pm is normal check in, best solution is to call direct and see if they have a room to accommodate you earlier.

Yes they do , the people 3 doors down from us had 3 large dogs. We asked and they do allow pets.
