Dr. Choi and his staff are wonderful! They make me feel comfortable and are super friendly. I highly recommend this office for all your dental needs.

Beware. I was told I would not be billed for ×-rays, although i told them i could provide recent ones. Dr. Choi's staff said not to worry about billing and that they "had a way around that" Four months later they bill me for needless camera photos and ×rays. I never went back, because Dr. Choi was foisting invisalign on me, when i had other urgent dental work needed. My teeth are not crooked! Did not go in for cosmetic dental work. I never went back, so 4 months later i am billed. Going back to my old dentist. I never had surprise bills with him. Beware.

I was hesitant to come here based on the couple reviews that weren't great. But I came in loved the staff the service provided by the doctor. I guess to each their own with the reviews from people stating they have issues, I appreciated the explanation that insurances aren't transparent no other office I went to has taken the time to explain the procedure and the insurance part of it. Everyone here was genuine and caring they really do want what is best for the patients. I would highly recommend this office to anyone who is looking for an honest and caring dental office.

Such an awful experience on more than one occasion. I went in for a routine cleaning when it was discovered that a root canal was needed. Alright, no big deal. I was kind of expecting this as I had been experiencing pain in the area leading up to the visit. While I was having the root canal done I started to feel as if something wasn’t right. I’ve had root canals before I noticed that Dr. Choi and his assistant were spending a lot of time on it. It turned out that a piece of medical equipment had broken and lodged into my jaw that he could not retrieve. Dr. Choi could not complete the procedure and referred me to a periodontist that he works with to have the piece of equipment removed. A few days later I’m at the periodontist checking in. Neither Dr. Choi nor his front office mentioned to me that the periodontist would be out of my insurance network when they scheduled the appointment for me but here I was, worried about potential infection and needing to get the broken piece of dental equipment removed right away and no other appointments available so I agreed to move forward with the procedure. The periodontist was also unable to remove the piece of medical equipment that Dr. Choi broke off into me but assured me that there was no risk for infection. So an unsuccessful procedure with little reassurance that cost me $1,700 OUT OF POCKET since I was referred to an out of network specialist. When I told Dr. Choi about what happened he was very apologetic and agreed to complete the root canal at no additional cost to me (would have been about $800) which was a nice gesture however it still left me $900 in the red. Once the procedure was completed I was scheduled for my next cleaning which included two fillings. I was told over the phone that my co-pay would be about $200 for the cleaning which I agreed to pay. When I checked in, I was told again that my co-pay would be $200 which I paid at the end of the visit. As I was leaving, the office informed me that there was some type of oversight on their end and that I would need to pay an additional $900 because my benefits were maxed out. $900!!!! That was most likely because although Dr. Choi agreed to cover the second half of my root canal at no extra charge to me, I’m sure they were more than happy to bill my insurance for the cost which the front office somehow didn’t account for. I very rarely leave negative business reviews but between the piece of dental equipment broken into my gums and the front office billing errors my experience with Dr. Choi and his office was nothing but bad experience after bad experience and as a result would never recommend this establishment to anyone.
