Warehouse, line and production workers are not allowed to answer cellphones or send text messages while working because it interferes with production and holding a lot of people waiting. However they can keep the phone in a pocket from which it will not fell off. They are allowed to receive text messages and voicemails . For more details talk to your supervisor or your HR.
