My husband and I recently got married at the Rainbow Lodge. It was the first (and only) venue we visited, and we could not be happier with our decision. All of our guests enjoyed what the Lodge and the surroundings had to offer. It really is a special place at a beautiful location. The Site Managers, Emily and Spencer, were an absolute dream to work with! They were very accomodating to all our requests - before, during, and after our weekend.

We chose the Rainbow Lodge for a large family gathering and so happy with the accommodations, the facilities and the overall property. I don’t know of another venue for gatherings with this much character, history and warmth and so close to Hiking, Skiing, Donner Lake, Lake Tahoe, Truckee, Reno.

Covid-19 closed to public extremely informative and nice managers at sunshine and her husband planning on having a party Ed Sheeran have all the information I need such a beautiful garden setting

They are not reopened yet. Doing major remodel at the moment.
Last time I drove by there was a sign that appeared to show they are under new management and doing renovations with no reopen date.
There is a state Run Campground just East about 1000 feet from the lodge and there is also Cisco Grove Campground West about 1 mile off of Hampshire Rocks Road . By the Chevron station which they have opened in the summer when you take the exit off of 80 you can't miss it
I believe the plan is to do private parties and weddings and Etc. This is just what I heard in the neighborhood from the owner. The building is still being worked on upgraded
