Amazing midweek deals to make skiing affordable, nice staff, and beautiful runs/slopes, the only downside is that the bunny slope (by magic carpet) is super short.

nice ski resort small but very family friendly and family owned perfect for week ski you will virtually be alone on the slopes friendly personel abd good snow you can enjoy the view on doner lake and near by sugar bowl resots

Donner Ski Ranch is the place to go for the best bang for your buck. The mountain is more than what you see at first with an entire backside that isn't visible upon arrival at the parking lot. Awesome time with just 5/6 lifts open and barely any crowds. If you're looking for an affordable few hours to hit the slopes, Dinner Ski Ranch will be perfect. They offer full and half day (12:30-4pm).

Oh my. This ski area is spectacular. Excellent terrain, trails were to our liking being solid blue trail skiers. Small but it was very very good. Family owned, customer service was above average!! Great price for value of skiing. Can't wait to come back when it snows again!!!!

I would definitely recommend Donner Ski Ranch.. they will provide lessons for the first timers and there is a small slope with snow belt for kids to practice..
Not sure about skis but to rent board and boots plus lift ticket was roughly 75ish total
