Enjoyed the egg plate with bacon and biscuit and gravy. Really good biscuit. Lots of other choices.

The service was really good. I was amazed at how big the inside was. THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME EATING INSIDE. WE USALLY GET IT TO GO.. The food was as great as usual. They even have jellies, chow chows ,and pickles by the jar to sale. They have plates, sandwiches and,ice cream,

Awful 😞. Mac n cheese was almost mush. Overcooked. I couldn't tell it was even macaroni. Baked Apples we're rancid. Flavorless green beans. Mother-in-law had a tenderloin and said it was good. Kids liked the chicken fingers ok. Cashier was very rude.

Stopped by after visiting Pilot Mountain. The BBQ sandwiches with Cole slaw was excellent and the peach cobbler was as if Aunt Bea had made it herself. 😉😋 Bought some of Aunt Bea's BBQ sauce to take home. Definitely worth the stop!

Sweet Sue's was the original name of the Aunt Beas locations in Mount Airy & Galax, VA. The Hillsville VA location was a Ray's Kingburger. Ray's Restaurants was a chain of fast food restaurants started in the 1960's & grew to about 40 locations in NC, VA, & 1 store in TN. There were 5 Sweet Sue's stores: Mount Airy, Galax, Stanleyville, King, & Pulaski VA. The Pilot Mountain Aunt Beas store was added after the days of Sweet Sue's.
