Sri Rama navami is Tomorrow Saturday 13 th April. Celebrations in Iskcon of silicon valley starts early morning till noon. You can attend the Ramayana Katha at 10 am followed by prasadam at 12.30 pm. Please come with family and friends. Thank you. Jai Shri Ram!

For spiritual progress a devotee should change his consciousness to Krishna consciousness. There is no need to go for any place or leave family. This is well explained in Bhagavad Gita As it is, the basic book of Iskcon. Srila Prabhupada explains very nicely how can have spiritual progress. This is philosophical answer In case of the Iskcon temple amenities, there is no place to provide for complete stay of a devotee for entire life. All of them have families. There are temples in India where there are facilities for a devotee who gives up family and stays in temple for entire life in service of guru and Lord. Hope this answers your question 😃
