Very cozy and love how the rooms are decorated. Was just like staying at your own home including the barking dogs when someone entered or left the establishment. The breakfast is very continental, but there are so many wonderful places to eat breakfast in Philadelphia I did not care. The room was inexpensive for a city bed and breakfast.

Cozy, charming, well equipped all necessary toiletries, fridge, micro, coffee maker, cereal and bowls and cutlery. Great shower. Bath is shared with next room only but we had it to ourselves. Antique district, central location, a whole foods market, starbucks around corner. Walk everywhere. Privacy. Great owner Marjorie ! Would go back.

Marjorie was very friendly, the place was ready when we got there.More than most of the airport security and restaurant workers. Can not drink Pepsi products. Most places surprisingly serve Coke products. We went Friday night to see Chicago Cubs terrible lost to the Philadelphia Philies won 1-3 games should have went Saturday 17-2. The only game won in a three games series to a bad team. Atlanta Braves cant beat them either even thou they suck also. Cubs still in 1st place in their division.

There are pros and cons! Pros: very kind hotelkeeper. I received a call and an email to be sure about my arrival time. I received a warm welcome at the door, and she gave me a parking pass for 6$. Very nice and safe neiborhood, although I stayed in the hotel after 8pm because I was exhausted after a long drive! Cons: I found the hotel with its address because there is no hotel sign!! It is a very tiny hotel, probably one room on the second floor and two rooms on the third floor! BREAKFAST IS SELFSERVICE! You have to help yourselves! Milk! Cheap Orange juice! Yogurt! Coffee (you have to make your coffee)! Some cereal! This was disappointing for me in comparison with other bed and breakfast hotels, which I have been there!! I don't know about other bed and breakfast hotels in Philly! The blankets and sheets smell nice but caused me cauphing as long as they were close to my mouth or nose, so I put them away, so I could fall in sleep. All in all, I won't stay there again!

Yes the lady was great. I went last fall for three days. I left my car special parking for four days. Touring all over Philadelphia city. Nice old Liberty Bell.
