Service was fine when it was called Wave, but went absolutely downhill with the Astound rebrand. Nothing but service outages or random slowdowns (3 major ones that impacted my ability to connect within 5 months). The most recent one was the most egregious as it happened AFTER an Astound technician came by to do some maintenance in my building. Internet speeds were affected so much that every other webpage failed to load. Multiple calls over the next 2 days resulted in a scheduled service call 4 days later (earliest they were able to accommodate). Absolutely ridiculous given I couldn’t even browse Amazon to make a purchase (let alone work since I WFH). Dumped Astound the same day and switched providers. Summary: you get what you pay for as the service is cheap, but not reliable in the slightest. I’d stay far away unless you don’t really care about being able to consistently connect to the internet.

Ever since wave became astound. The service has become horrible. It’s been out the past 4 night this night being the longest . I called them today was told the problems were resolved and yet here am I am agin with no internet service . Other then using my phone . I’m going to cancel this service by Monday if this is not resolved . Fix your service astound or Give it back to wave

I have been a customer of this provider for 9 or 10 years and it's time to try to leave. 3 months ago I upgraded the service and my response times on any browser I use has deteriorated with rare bursts of improvement. The company has been anything but helpful during this time frame including today when I called and asked about their process for service stoppage. Even in this area they did not try to offer any help or really ask why.

Yes, you need to bring it so you can get a receipt for the old equipment you return. Wave, in turn, will require you to sign for your receipt of the upgrade equipment.
