we bought our camper a few years ago, and have stayed in quite a few campgrounds. This is by far our least favorite. The staff is rude and not very friendly, we couldn't use our own golf cart, the picnic table had sharp metal pieces sticking up,they said they would send somebody to fix it,but no one ever came. not much to do unless you pay crazy fees. even to fish is $15,00 /day! We left a day early and came home. Would not recommend !!!

We had a great time last weekend! The staff is super friendly and helpful. We had a great size campsite the spaces are not to close together. We had spot 24 which was an end spot it made it great to pull through with my small trailer. The kids had a blast with all the activities. They have a big pool, paddle boats for rent $10 a half hour. Mini golf for 4 was $25, we fished in the boating lake. There are 3 stocked lake that cost $16 a day to fish in but that is to off set the cost of stocking they were stocking catfish on Saturday morning. They have a nice arcade our kids are a little to small for. They also have a nice dog park. We have a camping toilet so we didn't use the bathroom that much. It was clean and we'll stocked though. They had a storytime at 9pm on the office porch they brought hot choc (with ice cubes for the little ones) and popcorn out for everyone. The girls loved it they had big books with lots of pictures for everyone to be able to see. They also have ice cream & snack bar in the office. It was a great experience and we will be going back!

We had a wonderful visit to Pioneer Park this past weekend. The staff was very friendly, the manager could be seen throughout the park during our entire stay. We talked with him and he shared the upcoming plans for the park, which sounds amazing! The restrooms were very clean every time we went there. They added golf carts to rent, which was a very nice addition and the rate was fair. We will definitely come back! People don't like change, but this change seems to be for the better!

We have been coming to Pioneer Park for about 8 years. Under new management the campground is cleaner and the pond has been cleared out and the pool is heated. However, the negatives far outweigh the positives which makes me incredibly disappointed. When we first arrived the manager at the front desk was visible arguing with a customer. I waited 20 minutes to be told that we could check in through the gate- which was no big deal. Thereafter we arrived to our site and were all having a great time. However my dog began barking when the manager flew up on the golf cart at our site for reasons unknown. He said our dog can’t be barking, so this is not a pet friendly park anymore. My dog is harmless and only barks as he is an 11 month old chihuahua. The next day we were all sitting at our site and fireworks began to go off. We thought the park was putting them on so we all looked. The manager came directly to our site and asked if we were the ones putting them off. To be accused of something like that is so disrespectful. I will never stay at this campground again and I advise you not to as well. There were several empty spots during the memorial holiday and several permanent sites were complaining as well. This is indicative of poor management. I wish things were the same as before. Totally disappointed and sad!

Yes and site 201 has water and electricity...261 is just plain site and they are very nice site we liked them very much
Yes you can fish without a license it's like 11 dollars a person
That's something you would have to call and talk to them about.
No Limit
You should check with them i believe there is a rule not to cut trees or tie to them. Call the office. I doubt that you will be permitted to tie anything around the tree that might cause the bark to scuff off.
Yes. Choose a dry site thats not prone to water. Maybe drive around before u agree to the site. Rain is a tenting nightmare.
The end of march campground opens, however i believe the office opens early.
You should call the campground directly and leave message on answering machine. I have never seen them employ current park campers. There are employees. Grounds, cleaning, lifeguard, desk, activities.
Yes there is a gameroom and a playground. Lots of hiking places.living treasures animal park is close and 7 springs.
