Serene, beautiful. Good access to water. No power but water pumps on site. Great place to get away.

It was surprising to see how many campers there were on a weekday night. All sites in Racoon loop were taken, and half the Deer loop were taken. Water pump didn’t work. We were able to bike around and access the creek. A long drive in. No cellphone connection.

Great primitive campground. Camped in a 28.5' Over all length camper. Tight turning in at the gate but, still manageable. Vault toilets onsite. Beautiful area, secluded, great place to unplug from technology, No Cell service in the area. Caught a few trout in the stream nearby. We will be back.

Great meadows has had some cosmetic work this spring so it will be busy all summer..but it consists of 2 campgrounds..the first is across the rd from the water n 9outa 10 times you can find a spot there on Sun or Mon..unless it's a holiday or a hunting season you shouldn't have a hard time finding a spot on either day. Plus there are many individual spots along the way wth a picnic table, fire pit and tent spots..just no restrooms.
No cell phone unless you go up on top of peter's mountain. No cell is a good thing!
