This was our first time. The spaces are super tight! We almost did not get in. The upside is the proximity to Lake Cumberland. It is right on the lake. Very pretty. The parking sucks! The Somerset Corps of Engineers need their heads examined for this! They allow the public to park at the campground that should be for the campers ONLY. Due to the fact that the parking is soo limited!

A wonderful place to go camping and boating. Some of the sites are shady and others have a little less shade. Getting in and out of some sites may be some what tricky. Tried to use the dump station but couldn't. It is located in a very difficult to access place. Almost lost my RV exhaust system trying. 6/18/22 Still a royal pain to get to the Dump Station and empty your Tanks. Really need to find a better place. The pull-off area is way to small. This is the main reason for all the issues. Where is your "Congress Person" when you need them.

Great camping experience. Sites are clean and well maintained, bath house is clean and well maintained. Only issue is if you have a larger camper/trailer it can be a challenge to get in and out if some sites.
