I can't rave enough about this place! The food was excellent and the staff gets 10 stars from me. We had been on the road for almost 8hrs traveling home from vacation. We needed to find somewhere open for a late supper. My husband found the Omelet Shoppe. The food was extremely yummy!! But the staff really went above and beyond. Our tired 5yr old was being unreasonable and throwing a tantrum ( she stole a bite of my food so I stole a bite of her's and ruined her life 🤦‍♀️). She kept demanding we buy her a new burger, one Mommy had not taken a bite of. As we continually tried to get her to quiet down, the waitress came over to ask if she would like a pancake instead. My daughter cried she needed a new burger and I explained the ordeal. The cook was soo kind and offered her a new burger. I was beyond embarrassed, but the staff was so kind and compassionate explaining they were parents too and understood what it was like. I really appreciated their sweet gestures and understanding. ❤️

Today we tried this spot. It is kind of reminds me of a Waffle House, but maybe cleaner and less dreary. Our server was Katy. She was the sweetest, nicest server you could ask for. She really made our dining experience that much better. We ate waffles, pancakes, French toast, bacon, grits, meat omelet, coffee, etc. Everything was hot and delicious. We will definitely be returning.
