I stayed at the Iron Mountain B&B and really relaxed for the first time in ages. The views from any angle our breathtaking. There is so much wildlife to see just sitting on the porches. There are so many species of birds I've never seen even in nearby mountains. Joni and Bill are the new owners and bent over backwards to make sure I had a wonderful stay and delicious breakfasts- such a treat!

We had a lovely stay at Iron Mountain B &B. The log home is located on top of a mountain with stunning views. We enjoyed the Family Memories suite with a balcony and deck - and another incredible view of Doe Mountain. Vikki is a wonderful hostess, and she made excellent suggestions of what to do and where to eat. Speaking of food, breakfasts were delicious, created and served in style by Vikki. We love nearby Watauga Lake, but there are so many other activities to choose from - and Vikki provided many options which made it easy. We throughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to return in a few months to see fall color. I can only imagine how beautiful it will be.
