Sometimes, you never know. You just have to look around. They might have something one day and not the next or vise versa. It's a really a cool place if you like thrift store type shopping. Difference is you get more of a decent price for things at the Last Chance. Thrift stores these days seem to be pricing stuff at regular store prices.

Currently we do not offer donation pick-ups though we hope to expand this service in the future...possibly as soon as December.

Hi Colleen, Thanks for your interest in donating to the Last Chance Mercantile. We have yet to establish pick-up services, but plan to do so in early 2022. If we can do so sooner, we will. Until then, donation drop-off is available during normal hours. In addition, you may contact your garage collector and request a bulky item pick-up. Usable items will be diverted to the Last Chance Mercantile. Thanks again!

Yes, despite the Last Chance Mercantile being closed currently, the Household Hazardous Waste department right next door is still open and receiving old paint and electronic recycling Tuesday-Saturday. We'll see you soon!

Hi Cynthia, We currently do not have a timeframe for reopening the Last Chance Mercantile. The Board of Directors will be choosing an operator at an upcoming Board Meeting. The reopening date will depend on when the selected operator can reopen the store. Thanks for being a loyal customer! We look forward to seeing you as soon.

Unfortunately, we do not have a date set for the reopening just yet. Staff and the MRWMD Board of Directors are preparing and evaluating various operating models (District-operated or third-party operated) and plan to bring those proposals for the Board's consideration at the January 2021 meeting. Once a model is chosen we will begin work to reopen as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience as we work through this process!
