the worst internet provider I have ever had. The only option I had in the part of town I live and I feel like they are aware of it. It dropped constantly and the customer service is useless. If you can avoid mediacom, do so at all costs.

I would give Mediacom a negative star if I could. I don't have the time to write all my complaints, but I will just say unless you have NO OTHER choice don't use them!

Not very friendly. The lady that helped me move from cable to streaming acted like I was wasting her time. When I arrived to the main office on Wilkes there was no staff to greet me and I had to ask for help. Wish there was better options.

Would give 0 stars if it was an option. Horrible customer service, I finally get a week off from work and what’s this my wifi is down and they can’t send anyone out to fix it until after my week off is over. Then they tried to come the next day while I was out of town then when I said I couldn’t they pushed back the day that they could fix it even further. This isn’t even the first time this has happened with them. These scumbags will also slow down your wifi before your bill is even overdue or if your on an older plan they will slow your service down to try to get you to upgrade to their newest plan with new features that you won’t use. When I asked why I was charged for a full month of wifi even though they refused to fix my wifi for 2 weeks they dodged my questions and tried to ask me to reschedule my appointment.

youtube tv now offers no contract cancel anytime tv service with NBC and the other main family cable network stations
It's on now.
I have all 3; basically cable, internet and home phone and I pay around $160 a month which is insane compared to other companies in which I've seen. My landlord is on contract w mediacom so we cannot use any other provider so I'm forced to pay that unless I cut cable and phone and just use them for internet and then do internet tv. Thinking about it but need guidance to the right internet sites, apps, etc.
Check out mediacom. With
Depends on what service you want.. But DEFINITELY go down to the store to do it. There is a $99 "activation" fee but I got it waived by walking in. Unless it's an online deal where they waive fees. Do NOT call and deal with those Accenture people in the Philippines
I do believe it is a software update
Without running a separate line to the house (which is highly unlikely), no.
OK thanks will give them a call tomorrow
Yes you can. Infact you can probably turn in their router and not pay their rental fee. You also do not need their own modem, however that I do recommend you use from Mediacom.
Call customer support.
