The staff (particularly the manager, Shasta) is very rude. At first I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because everyone has bad days, especially during a pandemic, but every time i’m in the store they are blatantly rude and if you ever need help they act like it’s the biggest inconvenience ever. I’ve recently witnessed the manager being extremely hateful towards a customer, accusing her of vile things that are absolutely none of her concern. She represents this business horribly both on and off the clock. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link, which sadly happens to be the manager. This place would be great under better management, but until then I HIGHLY recommend going to the other dollar general (or literally anywhere else) in Smithville.
