Typical small town dsl provider. Service is slow and unreliable, call teck support and the only thing they can offer is to turn it off and back on again. I mean seriously... What decade do we live in?

The internet is really bad. I have to keep resetting the modem every 25 seconds and I am not kidding! My internet will go out and then I’ll go and hit the reset button and I am not joking when I say 25 seconds later after everything is back up it goes down again. I’ve called 4 times in a 5 month period. Explaining what was happening. They told me it was not running at the full speed that it needs to be, so they’ve had 4 different people come out and either switch the boxes or do something in the back and it’s still doing the same thing.

Perfect timing with incredible service. Ashley helped explain all the details and before she left on vacation made sure I would be set for connectivity! Indeed I was set ! Teh boat meeting I had could not have gone smoother with 6 of us using the same wifi line on the roof of the boat, the cabin and the front porch as well. Video conferences worked, and multitasking on conference and internet searches saved the day. I am extremely happy to be able to work from my get away- it works so good my husband unplugged the line and took us to the shore for the weekend so I wouldn't work anymore! The post check with Deborah was a great followup -confirming they have a good thing going on at DTC Smithville!

The services work pretty good so far. The problem is the bills are hard to understand. Lots of added charges and more than you would expect to pay. They told me on the phone I could get a bundle for 140 a month. My first bill was 272 dollars. I called and they gave me a credit but on my next bill there was a late charge. I did not pay late ever. There is a lower price for first 3 months then my bill is expected to be more like 200 a month. I wish they could just give you the real price when you call. You have to get phone service even though I will never use it but will have to pay for it each month. Internet is OK if you only connect a couple devices at a time. TV is what you would expect. Im still having trouble trying to understand this bill. GOOD LUCK with this company.
