This hotel overbooks! My family and I were driving across country. We don't like to book our hotel stays too far in advance in case plans change and we aren't able to get as far in a day as we had hoped. I start searching for a hotel for the night online a few hours ahead of when we plan to stop for the day. We understand this means our choices may be limited, but we have always been able to find somewhere acceptable to stay for the night. Well this time I was having a harder time finding a hotel with availability than normal and had to look farther along our route to find something. I finally found this Hampton Inn with rooms available and booked a room online, even though it meant driving much later than we had intended for the night. My husband, 5 year old son, and I finally arrived after 3AM. I woke my son and grabbed our luggage, tired and ready to get some sleep. We entered the lobby and were told that they were completely booked and had no rooms. I explained that I had a reservation. The gentleman at the desk said he did not have a reservation in our name and that there was nothing he could do, the rooms were all taken. He continued to tell me that the corporate office runs the online booking and frequently overbooks their rooms! We were left with no where to stay for the night. No where else had rooms, I had already tried everywhere else prior to booking here. I understand not finding a room is a risk I take when waiting until the day of to book a room, but saying you have a room available, taking my credit card information, sending me a confirmation that my reservation has been secured, then not having a room for me when I get there is NOT acceptable. Had I known at the time of booking there would not be a room available I may have been able to find somewhere else, even if it meant taking a different route on our trip. I cannot speak to the cleanliness of the rooms or any amenities as I never got a chance to see them, and now I never will. I will never again risk booking with Hampton Inn or any other Hilton location now that I know they intentionally overbook their hotels leaving families with nowhere to stay. Edited to add: I already reached out to customer support through the website before the management responded to my review. I have not gotten a response. But honestly, I don't know how you think you can make it right after you left my family with nowhere to sleep after telling me my reservation would not be honored.

PLEASE READ! I was traveling through for work, needed two nights somewhere and decided to pick this Hampton Inn. Customer service was excellent, and the room was very clean. I woke up at midnight to my entire body itching with, so I thought, were mosquito bites. As i started waking up I came to the realization that it was an infestation of bed bugs. I don’t want to leave this review but I feel as though I need to.. the reason I’m giving 4 stars is because I was taken care of, they worked with me very well, without hesitation, after I informed them of what occurred. And everything else about the hotel was good. The area seems safe. Also, by leaving this review it isn’t a judgement on the hotel staff or the hotel itself, but more of a warning to others to do your due diligence on your room, No matter how clean you believe it is.

Just not up to par with other Hamptons. I gave it two stars for a comfortable bed & very friendly staff. But maintaining this property does not seem to be a priority. Pictured are paint chipping on window edge, and the fridge cabinet. Coming in the end entrance there is no light in the foyer. So trying to get your key card in the key card gadget in the dark is almost impossible. We finally used the light on our cell phone to find out how it works. The hallway smells strongly of mold/mildew of which I am highly allergic. That scent did NOT follow us into our room, however. We will not be returning to this hotel.

I'm a 9 year Diamond Hilton Honors member that spends in excess of 200 nights a year in hotel rooms. I can honestly say this property doesn't meet the Hampton Inn standards I'm accustomed too. Hampton inn's aren't top of the line luxury hotels but normally they are pretty consistent in quality. This location should've been remodeled 10 years ago. The bathroom sink was glued together. The sheets are transparent due to there being so worn out. The walls were patched but not even sanded and painted. All room furniture is stained. The carpet is in dire need of replacement. The TV is old and outdated, the online guide didn't work and in room printed guide didn't match any of the working stations. On top of everything I listed above the hotel is charging rates that exceed most of the much newer and better shape properties I've stayed at. You can charge premium rates for sub premium services. One or two subpar conditions might be acceptable for a few days but when there are so many its unacceptable. I'll take my business to a competitor. I dont recommend this hotel and would highly encourage the owner to update immediately. If the property isn't updated soon Hilton "Hampton inn" should have there name removed from the building and stop advertising it on there website.

I stayed there last week and the window in our room on the third floor did not open.
