Really glad we stopped in today. For $5 per person there was a lot of great area history to look at and read about.

Wow!! Staff was great and very knowledgeable of the area and history of Paducah. Building is amazing. Brick streets surrounding it with amazing small shops. A walk downtown is well worth a visit.

A truly remarkable community museum in a national registry of historic buildings and places that are MUST SEE across America and around the World! Market House Museum takes you back in time to the days of the infamous Lewis & Clark Expedition and moves you forward through time and the overall history of this community and region. From the War between the States to World Wars I & II. Segregation. Jim Crow. To the Korean War and Vietnam. I highly recommend this place as a MUST STOP & SEE for your visit to Paducah. Near the foot of Broadway and right next door to Doe's Eat Place. All welcome. See you there!

For a small community with much history, it's great.

The riverwalk with painted murals and a steam locomotive at the end, several museums that tell you about Paducah's history, a quilting museum (if you're into that), several art galleries featuring local artists (we picked up a couple beautiful pieces), a beautiful downtown area with shops, food, and nice people. Lots of free parking in lots or on the street. We were only able to spend one afternoon in Paducah, so I'm sure there's a lot we missed.
