VERY RUDE,NASTY PHONE/receptionist. I called asking about having my 17yr old dog euthanized and cremated. I was informed they don't offer that service, contact a vet. then hung up.. I wasn't expecting they did.I was looking for local vet that did. I called LOLLYPOP Farm and they gave me 3 possibilities and were pleasant, concerned, offering follow up calls if needed. My first and only contact with wayne co humane society .

Just rescued a BEAUTIFUL Husky mix that was surrendered because he kept going through the electric fence after cats, rabbits, squirrels etc. He's been home a week. He makes eye contact. Has learned the sit and stay command and has adjusted to his crate. His recall on a 30 ft lead is very reassuring! It is a shame people do not do research on breeds before they go out and get one! Husky's are very prey driven if they knew that, they wouldn't of put him in an electric fence. Thank you HSWC for making the adoption process so easy!

I can't say enough great things about the Wayne county humane society. They are an amazing group of people that are able to make the most out of a small amount of resources they have. If anyone has the opportunity to adopt a pet from them, I would strongly recommend it.

You're always welcome to make a donation online
They only neuter males there that are up for adoption. You can get a paper from them for reduced rate spay/neuter to take to your vet tho.
The rabies clinics are run by Wayne County Public Health, please contact them for info.

Yes
Yes you can as long as all the animals in your house have up to date rabies shots
I don't know what you cat needs done, but I do know they have a program for low income people to help spay and neuter pets. I think they may even help with shots.
I would call before hand to make sure they have space available.
Yes. This was how we got our dog. She was a rescue from here!
Alice, the dog you are referring to is at a shelter in North Carolina, not our shelter. We are not sure of your location, but you could contact the correct shelter for an answer to your question. Thanks.
Check with Lyons Vetinary Clinic, in Lyons NY, they are the best!!
I am not sure if they themselves catch feral animals but I am sure if you contact them they will be able to you in contact with the right agency
They have teen volunteering opportunities. I personally volunteered one summer when i was 16. Which is the minimum age. The full list of requirements are listed on their website
