The char-grilled oysters are a stable in NOLA. The char-grilled oysters were delicious. Some of the shrimps were a tab overcooked but loved the grilled/crunch flavor at the rims and the seasoning. The fish was a little bit salty. The double cheeseburger was nothing special. Both entrees were small for the price we paid. Service was friendly. We went on a Saturday night and it was pretty empty. There was a band playing which was nice. Overall it was a good try.

I have the chargrilled oysters and the bread pudding and they were the most delicious I have ever ate anywhere. My husband has a cat fish and shrimp blackened and he thought that was delicious as well

Yes. There is street parking and a parking lot located next to the convention center in front of the River Walk.
Dancing at night. There used to be an older couple who danced to entertain diners, but I did not see them when I was there in September.
There is parking on the street with metered parking and then there are a lot of parking lots including one right across the street in the River Walk Parking Lot. I hope this helps.
To the uninformed “local guides”, Mulates opened in Breaux Bridge in 1980. I ate lunch there in November 1998 and bought a tee shirt. The restaurant was bought by new owners in 2011 and is now called Pont Breaux. All you have to do is Google it folks.
You do not need a reservation. Our party of 6 was seated immediately this past weekend.
