Excellent in all of its simplicity (pork chop). The red wine was a bit cold though.

The food was pretty good, but the service was super, super rushed! We were hoping for a nice, romantic meal, but we found ourselves in and out the door in an hour - for which we ordered drinks, appetizers, dinner, and tried to extend our stay by sitting for 15 minutes. They were nearly clearing plates as we took the last bite, or in the case of dinner, let us know the food was done before we had finished appetizers. I was about 3/4 the way through my meal when they brought the dessert menu. Perhaps most guests prefer this kind of quick service, but for $75/head and an intentional menu I prefer to enjoy my meal and treat it as an occasion.

The food was amazing and the all of the employees were phenomenal. Make sure you try the mac and cheese!

This place is legit, as my younger friends would say. It was so good I ordered some more food. And, a real bar with a real bartender, making drinks properly.

Thank you for the affirmations! I'm assuming by your comments that they are always available?
Almost all tables are high tops or bar seating. But there are are couple high chairs available too.
Should ask the restaurant directly, this is a community-based forum
Nope!
Back at the hotel
There is meter parking on the street
Could it be Mr. Pibb or Fanta Grape? I believe they had both.
Grand Isle...Great Stuff There!
I don't know for sure but they have a pig on display ready to cut. Sorry if this didn't help. This place is awesome nonetheless!
Don't know yet... but I ask
From Cochon's CdC Bret Macris: Right now, only the catfish dish and the COOLinary cochon de lait are cooked in lard. Everything else on the menu is not.
It is the french word for pig. If you google le cochon it will give you the correct pronunciation.

Judy, We're so glad to hear you enjoyed the marinated tuna dish. Let me see if Chef has a recipe for home-use on hand for it. Thank you for your patience, Rea for team Cochon
