This place is amazing! Of course this place will bring lots of tourists because of it's location, but when you see locals in there you know it's good. Being a new resident to New Orleans I have been busy checking out many places and this place will be a new "go to" place for me. First of all the seafood gumbo was the best I've ever tasted, the charbroiled oysters where amazing, and the shrimp po-boy that my friend had was too big for her to finish so I decided to be a good friend and help her out, I'm so glad I did, it was really the best I've had since moving here. Besides the great food, the service was equally as good and there was such a good, positive vibe among all the employees. Our server Rebecca was so helpful with her honest suggestions, and overall an awesome person, not only that, she is a great bartender and made me my martini just the way I like it, actually I had two:). I will definitely be going there on a regular basis! Unfortunately I didn't take a photo while there but this is blocks away on my way there this past Saturday.

We stayed at the Bourbon Orleans, beautiful hotel ,right in the center of French quarter. It was walkable to everything
There are more than a dozen hotels that are less than 10 min walking. We are currently staying in a condo and pretty much all of the rooms are Air B'n'B. It's on the same block as Deanie's and across Bienville from Arnaud's. Our 1br is 150/night. 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms avail. Roof top pool & BBQ area. Elevators, full Kitchen Locked front entrance with on duty security 24/7 Definitely recommend it!
Yes they have steamed and broiled. Stuffed are delicious.
They are open from 11am-10pm, but they are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. Only open Thursday- Monday.

Hi Lauderi, Our French Quarter location has been closed since March due to Covid. Our Bucktown and Uptown locations have been open, but are closed today due to power outages in the area. We hope to open those locations as soon as power is restored. Check our facebook pages for updates.
Soft shell crabs, shrimp, oysters,fish and crab puppies. Wonderful meal for 3 men!! All this on a bed of french fries

I went recently and am not from Louisiana but do like spicy food. I think as others have previously said, it depends on what you're use to and whether or not you eat spicy foods or those with more than average spices.
They are not my Cooks. I was a customer like I'm assuming you were. Are you sure they don't use gloves? Are you assuming? I don't understand how you would have seen the cooks hands.
Lunch deals are cheaper but also smaller. Dozen Char broiled oysters r about$20 but good. Artichoke appetizers $7.95. 8oz. Filet $30.00 Beers are 3.75&up, Miller $5.00 Tea $2.50. We did lunch&spent approx$70.00. Husband had 1 Miller, I had 1 tea, Dozen Char. oysters, crawfish2ways, husband had seafood platter. Love the free new potatoes cooked in seafood boiled water! Dessert, bread pudding good but for the size of a muffin&@ $8.00, won't be getting again. Last year it was hugh! They've scaled it down & I should have complained but didn't. We still love it bcz it's right of Marriott Hotel's front door.
It depends, I was to wrapped up in the food to watch anything. They have seating at the bar that you will enjoy.

There is a giant seafood platter that runs about $70. It is more than enough to feed 5 people.
It's always best to call the establishment. When you ask questions on Google Maps, you are asking the community, not the business directly. So jealous, I wish I was eating BBQ shrimp right now!
