It was a good. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The Mac and cheese was delicious and so was the hush puppies. I had to go back and order more for later on. The pulled pork lacked a lot flavor but they have hot sauce to back it up. Overall I would recommend the sides. Also the prices are fair.

Exceptional quality and friendly service in a casual former gas station setting. The beef brisket was deliciously seasoned and worth the couple of dollars extra. Loved the collards, hush puppies and mac n cheese

Risin' Smoke Barbecue has an excellent selection of meats, sides, and desserts! We both ordered the beef brisket plates which have the option of two sides and hush puppies or a roll.The brisket is great by itself or with their bbq sauce. The sides are just as great as the brisket! We tried the mac and cheese, fried okra, and baked beans - all were excellent! For dessert, I tried the Oreo cheesecake which was delicious! A great bbq spot!!
