Attempted multiple calls during normal business hours. Of course it endlessly rings and finally just disconnects. Not sure anything else was expected from a deers office on a military post.

Did a walk-in appointment to get my CAC renewed. The process was easy, but because of the card printing and preparing time needed by the computers it can take some time per person, so be prepared to wait patiently. I've had the best luck doing walk-in's at various DEERS offices by getting there as early as I can (right at open whenever possible) and it seems to help going in the middle of the week as well if you can swing it. Staff at this office were kind, pleasant, and gave good directions on what they needed to move efficiently through the renewal process.

I was 3rd in line when I got there. Spent over an hour watching employees (2) alternate 30 minute breaks as the waiting room began to overflow. A crash course in professional attire and a sense of some kind of urgency would serve this office well.

What is the purpose of making appointments if you will not be seen at your appointment time? Walk-ins will go before you and no sense of urgency at all
