Went to store to buy a small hose clamp for my chainsaw. I was told that it wasn’t in stock and they would have to order it. Clamp price was about $4.50. Then I was told I would have to pay $15.00 for shipping. My clamp price is now over $20. I like to support local shop owners but I felt like l was being taken advantage of. Went home and checked on Amazon, $7.23 and free shipping. Two years ago I bought a chainsaw bar there. Got home and decided to price check my purchase. They had grossly overcharged me. I called and complained about the price. I explained that I didn’t expect them to be cheaper than my online price but they should be in the ballpark. They refused to make it right at first but latter they called me back and explained that they had made an error on the price and would like to put things right with me. Anyone can make a mistake but this is the second time they have done me wrong. In the future I will drive 40 miles to bishops in Perry or just order off Amazon.
