I used to really like this place, been coming here for about a year now, the owner is super nice, I can pay for the machines on my phone.. However, this morning I was told that all blankets need to go in the giant washers (which there are 2 and both were taken). The blanket she pointed out was barely thicker than a sheet, not even a comforter, and even with my sheets there was still room in the (new 'triple load') washer. I won't be coming back anymore, it's ridiculous to say all blankets (regardless of size) need to go in a giant washer. Had I done that, I would have paid 9.50 (?) to use 1/10 of the washer. For what?

Washing price is reasonable $3.75 per load, drying is 4mins per $.25. Management is very friendly, respectful, and helpful. Restroom are open and clean which is very nice. Building is also nice and clean.

I have been to tons of laundry mats from Lakewood to Kent and none compare to Tyee Laundromat. It is by far the cleanest place I have gone to. It has a warm feeling to it. They have toys for kiddos who come in with their Parents. I love their polkadot walls. Bathroom is always clean and stocked. Whenever I have questions on soaps and new tricks, Amber has endless ideas that always work! Won't go anywhere else.
