I’m at the Raytown location now at 9:07 am and they aren’t even open no one is inside

Take the test @Herndon building off 63rd Street. When I pass the test I have3 try's do do so. Then when you pass the test, go to license bureau with your birth certificate and a piece of mail that documents where u live. In MO or KS.

Hi Kevin, if you're going to sell it, you are not required to update the tags. Unless you were letting them have the license plates and tags to transfer. I hope this helps

Keep in mind, it can take up to 30 days for it to get to you in the mail. And unfortunately, there isn't much we can do until that date is reached. So if the license doesn't come by the date at the top of your temporary, please come in to our office with a proof of address and your temporary and we will see what's going on.

You'll need to bring a piece of your grandmother's mail along with a note stating your name address and that you are allowed to receive mail at that address

The last time I was there (3weeks ago) the people in front of me in the line was using two different credit cards, because they had 1 amount on one another amount on the other, the teller suggested they use the atm but they told her they wouldn't have enough because the atm would take out $3.50 from each card??? Now what happened after that I don't know because my number got called. So, maybe they do???? But then again, how loud they were talking ended abruptly???🤔🙄🤗

The DOT med certification cards should be taken through the drivers license area of any DMV in Mo. The charge is $2 and unfortunately you will have to wait through the line. As always when dealing with the driver's license area of a Missouri DMV be sure to bring proof of residency. This can be a utility bill a bank statement something kind of official in your name with your current mailing address on it no less than 2 months old and know your social security

I'm thinking that maybe your id, proof of residence and maybe your ss# and just in case your birth certificate. I would hate for you to get there stand in a long line and be turned away for something you didn't have.....

I'm thinking you may need the following items, old driver's license, ss#, up to date major bill proving your address. Just in case bring something else of importance proving who you are and your address. You don't want to stand in a long line only to be turned away. Ok 😉😊

Well, you can always apply for a hardship license, meaning it is needed for work or school. I know in St. Louis they offer a lift on suspensions when there is a hardship. So look that up and try it. I hope it works out for you..

When presenting the tax receipt however make sure you are not on the summary of all past years but have actually clicked open that particular years paid receipt

If your license isn't close to expiring, you can get a duplicate license without taking a new picture. If you license is within 6 months of expiring, you can't use your old picture.

Yes, it's like $50 for 2 years, and I think it like $30 for 1 year. You need your 2017 tax receipts, insurance card and license if you're paying with a check. You may also need you vehicle registration. Just in case. I would hate for you to get there wait in line a long long time and they send you away for missing something. Ok All the best🤗

You can come into the office with the registration for the vehicle that needs the title with your ID or license and order a duplicate.

The person you bought it from will need to title it in their name (and pay sales tax as well). Once that title comes in the mail, they can then sign it over to you.

For license plates you don't need anything to register anybody else's Vehicles however if you are trying to title the vehicle you need to have a signed 108 form from the person who is registered as the owner

No, the testing facility is not open on the weekends. They are only open regular business hours Monday through Friday and they asked to arrive before 4 p.m.

Usually since it's a duplicate, you can show your social security card and pay the 7 or $9.00. That's about it I think.....🤗😉

A death certificate will not allow us to remove a lien or change the name on the title. We will still need a lien release to remove the lien. To change the name, unless you are a surviving spouse or unmarried minor, the registered TOD(transfer on death beneficiary) needs to come in or we will need probate court docs

Yes. The DMV in Raytown is walk-ins only. You can make a reservation online using our online ticketing system. Just make sure that you have your personal property taxes for at least the year previous to your expiration year and the year before that. So if your plates expired in 2017 I would need to see 2016 and 15 personal property taxes. All vehicles older than 2013 so 2012 and older are required to have inspections and you are always required to have insurance when visiting us.

I'm the manager at the Raytown office, you do not need your Social Security card but you do need to know your social security number and have a piece of mail with your name and address on it. This piece of mail must be somewhat official like in utility bill or bank statement. We can also accept lease agreements, voter registration, or vehicle registration. Your driver's license or non driver's license will not be accepted as proof of residency. The cost for replacement driver's license is $12.50, a non-driver's license costs $11 replacement CDL is going to be $32.50

Ok, the 1st thing would be to if you're wanting to is send the title off to transfer the name. If at all possible., that way you can start with a fresh title and he can take over the payments. Get some insurance, get tags and license plates from whatever state you're in. I know it seems impossible. But it's possible and easier then you think... If all else fails go to the DMV in person and present your matter and concern. I hope this helped🤗

Actually, I think it's the same in state. The reason I say that is because, you will be signing the title here in MO. Also, paying for tags and plates here? Right? So, it would be the same once you brought the car back. It was the same for me with my car.
