I live in Kansas close to my mom she watches my dog sometimes along with her three other dogs I have left my dog with my mom before multiple occasions and it not be a problem I left him with her while I went out of town and The morning of the day I was to come back my mom made me aware that my dog and her three other ones were stolen out of the yard three out of the four dogs were at this shelter it took us a few days to find them because we were calling and looking at the shelters around us eventually when we did go up there we were told you to pay a fee which was $500 which me or my mother did not have at the time but we could definitely pay it the next day if not that day when we called they were no longer available to us and we had to fill out an adoption form if we wanted our dogs back which is not even a guarantee I miss my dog along with the others which are his siblings more and more every day this is my first and now last interaction I will have with this or any shelter ever again my dogs were stolen and then kept out of my reach by Aaron Morse The Director of the shelter

Filled out an application to adopt a stray we brought in with her litter and they just plain didn’t ever call me back. Had to pay for them to take in mama and her litter. Our living situation was uncertain as we were moving and couldn’t keep them with us any longer at that time.

A very good animal rescue in the KC area. We highly recommend working with these guys

Great rescue with big hearts! We got our little guy Vinny from them just a couple months ago and we're super happy with the adoption process. Thank you for all the work you do to make the fur babies lives better!

This is a GREAT question. I just moved back here after several years. They had JUST opened the KC Pet Project in Zona Rosa when I lived here. So I’m VERY curious How much help is out there for each area
If your not in raytown they won't take them. Kansas city is pet project
You need to call and make an appointment.
Ted Adkins your just going have to search for there number & call about that info cuz none of us have visited there to know that.
They are open from 10-5 on Sundays. And pretty sure you are welcome to come in anytime. No appt needed.
You can view our current adoptable dogs here: www.midwestanimalresQ.org We would also suggest petfinder.com to search all local groups in the area.
the shelter is full (at capacity)... but there are all kinds of places that watch pets when you are out of town.
Animals move through here quick! If you see one you like you better go right away. Some never even make it to the website.
Go to https://www.midwestanimalresq.org and click on 'Adopt'.
They are an awesome rescue. Please call and see when you can take him in
Yes it is.
I do not understand your question.
When I got my doggo there, they had under 20 cats. That was a couple months ago.
As of now cost range from 165 and up. Check their website for available pets or go to their shelter. Make sure you fill out their adorable form. They have all kinds of ages, breeds so look at their page or visit the shelter. I know they had some not to long ago.
Both
