Man people like proving their ignorance on Google reviews, especially for essential services that we have no power over. Did you know that the Amazon merger has left USPS with a labor deficit in the tens of thousands? There's no senior union members to coach the incumbents on the art of union paperwork essential to not be abused by USPS. So now the entire labor force of the USPS is overtaxed with little union protection because we need our two day delivery. And people still have the nerve to exploit the workforce in which they have diligently sought to disenfranchise? Get bent all you whiny do nothing ignoramuses. The postal service has always been terrible that's why there's a union. Maybe you would rather drive cross country the next time you need something delivered? $10 and some waiting doesn't sound so bad now, huh?

JT resident of 19 years and 21 in Morongo Basin. Funny story... When I lived in Yucca, I would drive to JOSHUA TREE! because the service was so great. Presently, I go to the PO a time or two a week and know all of the postal workers. They are all great people working under deteriorating conditions. Fewer people, heavier workload, new policies, and a Postmaster General who is driving the best postal service in the world... Into the ground. Just yesterday, the new guy, Jason, took care of an elderly woman who wasn't able to do ANYTHING herself. He assembled the box, place the items in it, taped it up, addressed it and handled the financials. SMILING the entire time. I've witnessed customers abusing these hard working folks on innumerable occasions. The abuse they suffer is uncalled for and, IMO, reflects more upon the customers and the times we live in than the postal employees. Take a deep breath. A simple 'Please' and/or 'Thank You' will get take you far in this world of ours. And remember... Never has a statue been erected in honor of a critic. Life is good. :)

I love the twenty nine palms post office. I got a P.O. Box and am always at the counter and witness friendly courteous service in a professional way. No joke to mail is very important to me and I support our postal workers
