The worst hospital I have ever been to in my life! Horrible service, super dirty, my son arrived with a concussion on his head and it took 5 hours to check his vital signs, after so much frustration, I called an ambulance to be able to transfer him to Loma Linda because his condition was getting worse and worse... If you have children and you don't want them to kill you, never go to this place! Disgust of place, disgust of staff or disgust of customer service

Took my id and medical card. Claim they don’t have it. Will not call the lady that took them to ask her to bring them back. Will not pay for another one.

Try not to go here or have your family go here. Loma Linda would be an excellent choice and Eisenhower in Palm Springs.

SITTING IN WAITING ROOM FOR OVER AN HOUR, BLAKE THE SECURITY GUARD WONT LET ME IN TO SEE MY PREGNANT WIFE WHO IS IN LABOR, I AM TRYING TO BE PATIENT BUT WHEN WAS SECURITY IN CHARGE OF MEDICAL CHECK IN?! SHE IS HIGH RISK AND HIS REFUSAL YO LET ME PASS WILL COST THIS HOSPITAL . BLAKE IS DISRESPECTFUL, NO SOCIAL SKILLS AND YOU HAVE HIM AS THE FIRST PERSON SOMEONE SEES, EITHER YOUR PUSHING PATIENTS AWAY OR YOUR JUST MAKING THEM FEEL COMPLETELY UNWELCOMED

I believe that they have like 14 emergency room beds. And they have two wings of beds for patients. (But i am not 100% sure on these numbers, this is just a guess from being there a few times.)
I have not heard of anyone getting dialysis there. Hi desert is a pretty small medical center. Think of it as a large urgent care.
Xrays are walk in no appointment needed
You should call them and find out. I was there on Friday. They have no visitors allowed because of high volume of covid cases.

911 - to ask for the next nearest hospital. Unfortunately had to bring my friend here for a back injury sustained while rock climbing in Joshua Tree. After waiting for 4.5 hours, the ER doctor saw him for less than two minutes and without any physical inspection, deemed the injury a compression spinal fracture and suggested bed rest for 6-12 weeks. Went to a specialist a few days later who ordered an MRI. Turns out multiple ligaments were torn and the specialist would have recommended immediate surgery. Seriously, go somewhere else.
