Worst place ever to donate plasma, worst customer services ever, I've had too many left over scars from their needles that were improperly taken out of my arm. I wait an average of 1-2hrs before reaching to my donation chair. I always see more talking and less urgency to help doner patients when needed. Very unpleasant there. Would NOT recommend to anyone. (They also like to take their time to send donor payments)

Don’t go to this location ~ the staff is undertrained, the machines are often broken, and the Manager is incompetent and rude. I’ve been restuck more than half the times I’ve gone, was given a Gatorade instead of my saline back because the machine broke, and overheard some of the most unprofessional conversations you can ever imagine in a work setting. Someone higher up the chain needs to get there ASAP to do some oversight into this location.

Very unprofessional and on weekends the staff make up their own rules. I was turned around and not able to donate because the staff told me that this place does not take any donors after 1:30pm when the place closes at 4:00pm on weekends.

Very slow. Would wait up to 4 hrs! This place is horrible. Very discouraging for people wanting to donate. Definitely wouldn’t recommend!!Good afternoon Deidre. Thank you for your feedback. Walkin then make a appointment for next appointment
The first time takes about 3-4 hours. Drug test, answering questions, etc. You'll have to call to schedule an appointment. You'll need your social security card, an ID, and a piece of paper with your current address IF your ID does not have your current address on it.
Right now, $75 each for the first 3 donations as long as those are done in a 14 day period. After that you are compensated $20 for your first donation of the calendar week and $40 for your second donation of the calendar week. There are also different bonuses, but those change monthly.
Yes they do, the earlier you get there the better. It's a pretty long process and if I remember correctly they take returning donors before they take the new ones

Yes. First time donors have to complete a urinalysis and urine substance screening. If you test positive, it is a permanant deferral. If you come to the center smelling like marijuana you will get a warning and deferred for the day. If it happens again you will be permanently deferred.

Hi Deanna Freeman. Welcome to the Grifols plasma donor community! Thank you for donating and for sharing your feedback!
You can, but it's frowned upon (or might get you deferred, not sure though I don't smoke), however if you smoke synthetic marijuana you can put yourself in a life threatening situation because of how synthetic marijuana effects your blood.

Yes, if you want to change both donation days, you would need to skip a week of donating unless you want to change them to days after your regular donation days. For example, if your regular donation days are Monday and Wednesday you can change it to Tuesdays and Thursdays. Of you choose any day after your regular donation days then you won't have to skip a week.
I believe it's 6 months. They'll send you something in the mail with a time stamp that if you come back and donate they'll give you a bonus.
Usually anywhere between 3-4 hours depending on your individual process. Up to 5 if you have to wait on a transfer from another center are have other circumstances. Return donors, take anywhere between 45-90 min depending on how long out takes you to donate. How long it takes an individual to donate is greatly affected by their hydration level.

To be a new donor, all steps must be completed on the same day: 1. Fill out a very basic questionnaire and read the New Donor book that contains health and safety info. 2. The staff review your questionnaire and enter you into the computer system. 3. You watch a 5-6 minute video 4. You answer 65 Yes/No questions on a kiosk (After your second donation it is only 25) 5. You do your screening. (Weight, blood pressure, pulse, temp, finger stick) 6. Physical (UA, substance screen, a few health history questions, head-to-toe) 7. Donate Please keep in mind that if a donor does not meet qualifications on any of the steps, they cannot donate that day and have to come back a different day to try again.
