Not enough doctors, scheduling is often not accurate. All employees are contracted and not Veterans Administration employees 🙄. This makes a big difference in the level of csrrand services rendered.

After my visit I wondered why did I miss work! I literally came in for the Dr. to look at my blood work. Tell me I need to go back to Kiaser am left out the room. Did not ask me about any concerns I may have been having. I literally came in an told the nurse about my back issues. Dr. never brought it up. Just gave me a slip to give to the front to come back in a year. Not to this clinic I won’t! Complete waste of time!! I will drive an hour to LA next time. Thanks for nothing Oxnard VA!

Might go without saying for the VA, but what a disappointment. More so than recently I’ve been given the “we’ll run it up the chain” answer only to be called back about the same issue without it ever going any further up the chain. Today specifically I was hung up on three times. I would get put on hold and then disconnected. It is sad that this is the level of care and respect that they give veterans.

They’ve cancelled 3 of my appointments without notifying me until I called to confirm dates. The last one was because my PCM no longer worked there and they didn’t contact me to reschedule with the new one. After rescheduling, the entire staff was rude, including the call center lady that does the scheduling. They seemed to not care and dismissed my issues. 1 seemed disgusted that I just recently got vaccinated. It was very awkward and I wanted to just cover some basic issues and then get out of there.

Daily m-f need to call a day in advance to have your name on the list.
The VFW I believe has someone there to liason and help with arrangements. This might help too https://www.benefits.va.gov/compensation/claims-special-burial.asp
They won't do anything without an appointment.
I would just go in.
Myhealthy vet. Patient portal allows you to communicate with dr.s and nurses and view blood test results. Clinics have information and also need a in person verification to get started.
They moved to a bigger space. it's where pacific coast trading school was at.
Not that I'm aware of.
There is no pharmacy at this location.
This is the VA Veterans Affairs Clinic. Such a procedure would require a referral to another outside Clinic. More than likely the VA Los Angeles.
You would probably want to talk to a VSO (veterans service organization representative) to find that out .
