I go out there to walk along the train station and look at the beach . great place to get some exercise without having to actually go in the sand love it!!

Wonderful stop to visit the surf and sand while watching the Amtrak. Train stops here to puck up passengers. Good size parking lot, restroom. Sheriff stopped by while we were visiting....an added plus.

OK beach with sand dunes. There is a bathroom. The sand is very fine.

There is no public transportation. You have to use your own vehicle.

How is the surf fishing ? Do they close the beach during rocket launches?

Yes. They close the beach. The surf fishing is ok, the waves are extremely rough.

During the launch, u can't go there...road to Surf beach is closed ...safety reasons ( it's close to launching site)
