Beautiful hidden gem. Dramatic landscape where sea waves are seen against steep slopes strewed with trees. I really love the little inland pond. The wait to eat at the restaurant is nearly 2 hours. The place is enchanting but not a must visit location. Most notably, Dogs can run without a leash.

No, but I drive by campsights both public and private on my way to Santa Barbara at Buellton, Gaviota Beach and El Capitan Beach. Also at Lake Cachuma. There's some the other direction too - towards Carpenteria. Search the whole county of Santa Barbara.
If there are many dogs on that beach and the beach is very beautiful and all the animals that they take have fun there, they are welcome

All the spots require you to pull in diagonally. You will probably need to unhitch. There is a lot that is close to the beach entrance. That can fill up because it shares the lot with the restaurant. There is another one a little further off and that is the one you will probably end up in.

Yes, there are grills but not many. They're located NW of the public restrooms. There is an inconspicuous grass strip - a nice lawn - that's largely unused. There you'll find a few picnic tables and fewer grills.
