We couldn’t love this place more and we have had a great time here but the ants are really bad and they don’t spray for them because they are apparently “ pet friendly”. Cinnamon works really well. Ants hate it so buy a huge container and sprinkle it all around the perimeter of your rv as soon as you hook up and you shouldn’t have any problems. If the ants get inside take a cotton ball with some cinnamon and water and run it along the nooks and crannies where you see them and that should help too

Hung out at the campground, visiting friends who are staying there for a few days. Nice and clean park with electricity, water, even wifi! Used the clean restroom, walked the dogs, had a nice time there.

Had a really good weekend camping at ocean Mesa. Brought the puppy and he had a blast playing with the other dogs. They were very friendly. Campground and bathrooms were clean. They have a pool, showers and private bathrooms. Nearby hiking trail. I couldn’t find any access to the beach, but perhaps that’s because we had our dog and there were at least two places that had signs saying we could not bring him past a certain point. The canyon market had seriously delicious food, not what I was expecting and pleasantly surprised. The turkey burger with Sriracha slaw was hands down a must, so flavorful! The chili was also excellent even though to me it could have used more flavors. It was still very good and could have been perfect with more spice or flavor. The mushroom pizza was also terrific. Lots of beer, wine and candy choices. You don’t have to bring any food to throw on the grill if you don’t want to worry about it because the store has everything. Grassy park area to play games. Overall a great experience. You’re probably looking to spend $200 a night.

We stayed here six nights. We'll never come back. The bathrooms/showers would be closed in the morning 8am-ish for cleaning when people need to use them. We had rowdy neighbors the first three nights. Then we had a family with a loud non-stop screeching, whining baby. They just let the kid scream for hours. Also there's a very strong oil smell in the air during the week, probably coming from the oil rigs off shore. I thought it was very pricey for a place that's more of a rustic campground than a resort.

I think they're open during the week and the weekends but it's always a good idea to have a reservation there very crowded
About half a mile. Beautiful walk tho or drive over to the beach.
Yes they have a walking area for the dogs and a running area also
Yes
yes some hicking trails dont allow dogs
They do I believe the rate now is 70 plus tax
Anytime after 2:00pm
Check in time is 2pm everyday, they have someone all night even to help with check ins!
The maximum stay limit is 14 days. And pets are allowed as long as they're on a leash.
Santa Barbara is not close by but an easy 30 min drive.
Quite hours start at 10:00pm and get enforced by night security.
Air quality seems good, no smoke or ash. Theirs a nice cool breeze
No clubhouse, there is a pool, clean restrooms and showers. The associated El Capitan camp is a short hike and it has a shop and cafe.
It depends what kind of site you will like. They have sites where you can camp with tent and others for RV camping. It will be best to call their office
It's pretty expensive but it is in a beautiful location. You can call or book online.
You'll have to call them directly to check on availability. Then they will place you in a site that's manageable for your RV. There're running a limited special for multiple nites. Have fun
This isnt the actual campground
Yes they do call cuz they get full quickly
Not that I'm aware of, but you can call, email, or have a brochure sent to your home for any questions you may have
