This is our 1st trip back to the hope sound nature center after it was closure during the pandemic. It's so wonderful to see that nothing's changed and that all of the wonderful animals are still doing well. They had a wonderful little scavenger hunt to find a green snake that we even had the volunteer helping us find. Got a really cool sticker out of it. Great to see you back open and can't wait for our next visit.

Hi Nadine, we do not yet have an opening date at this time.
There are several small trails totaling about 1/2 a mile but a small portion is currently closed due to a large dead tree. Trails are open sunrise to sunset every day.

Small place but no worries , friendly people but dogs have to be on a leash in other words bring a leash incase ranger comes around, i never leash my dog but he is 8 pounds and only ran across ranger 1 ti.e in 4 years. Very nice place has bathrooms and a short nature trail, white sand beach
