The grocery store and the takeaway shop are separated. This review is about the grocery store. The selection of personal care and home products on the second floor is very good, but the first floor grocery feels cramped and scant. More importantly, I bought sashimi grade salmon to make poke. I noticed that the fish was sitting on top of an open bed of ice which was chilling the bottom of the plastic containers but not the top. I touched the top of the container and it wasn't cold, but I was already in the store so I got the fish. When I got home, I saw that the salmon I picked up had an appearance that indicates it was not kept at a cold enough temperature (the fat started to melt, giving the salmon an oily sheen). When I opened it, I could smell a fishy smell on the salmon. This was extremely disappointing. Still, I made and consumed the poke. After marinating the fish, the smell was mostly gone and there were no adverse affects after eating it. However, there was no denying that this fish wasn't as fresh as my expectation. I wish they would just properly refrigerate their fish so customers are not playing russian roulette on getting food poisoning.
