Canyon Park, East Side

Cute little park with the usual essentials (playground, clean bathroom) but the real highlight here is the creek running through it. It is amazingly beautiful and pleasant to take a dip into - it's especially refreshing after a hike in the nearby mountains.

Visiting family for the weekend and we came here to cool off. There was plenty of shade, just enough playground for little kids (7 and under). Most of all everyone enjoyed dipping their feet in the water and cooling off on a hot day.

Beautiful and wide open park. There's the main park by the parking lot but if you walk down the sidewalk to the other side of the river there's a great walking path and places to hammock and picnic

Great place year round, for kids to play parents to relax and to have gatherings or parties.
