The accommodations were very disappointing to say the least; especially since the Metropole property came highly recommended by my partner whom travelled with, and previously stayed at your property. The one-bedroom suites pale in comparison to what I'm generally accustomed to. What is advertised vs. what you see arrive is jarring. It's all in the staging! The quarters felt cramped like we were right on top of one another the entire stay. Management could only offer apologies, but could do nothing to change reality . I was mortified to find a dried blood stain on the duvet comforter when it was pulled back to spray the bed and sheets down with Lysol spray (as I generally do as a precaution with all my accommodations). I immediately called the front desk and had the manager on duty come up to inspect it with his own eyes and remove it. I asked for a replacement and was offered everything but a duvet. A blanket, a sheet, a flat sheet. All very insulting. I advised the manager to look at what was removed and give me an equivalent replacement and finally received such. I even had to remake the entire bed as housekeeping is not available until day three of any stay. If not for the close proximity to the beach, shopping and eateries I definitely would have checked out. I will give kudos to the management staff that I interacted with. Everyone was very professional, helpful and pleasant. They seem to want to make the stay enjoyable but often spoke of "their hands being tied" by corporate. The manager Pita was lively and was available during our entire stay.Β He was full of info and promises, but at the end of the day he did not resolve our issues with room size or it's cleanliness. He did allow us a one-hour later checkout.

My girlfriend and I had a perfect stay here at the Metropole in South Beach. Greatest value in the area in my opinion. Ruth at the front desk was great at making sure we were accomodated properly. Huge suite in a top location, for a very fair price. I will definitely be coming back here any time I stay in South Beach. Thank you Metropole for a assisting in good memoriesπŸ‘

Great location of the hotel. Bad behavior of the reception guy, who initially seemed friendly, but as soon as we told him we were Italian his behavior changed. We asked him if he spoke Italian and from that moment he was fed up and rude… despite everything he continued to speak quickly in English even knowing that we did not know the language perfectly. Immediately after giving us the keys to the rooms, he accompanied us to the exit of the garden leaving us there indicating the elevator without even telling us which floor the rooms were on ... we stayed 4 days without having had any room service that is with the same towels and 1 roll of toilet paper, room never tidied up. When we went to the beach and greeted with kindness, he never answered us. Fortunately he wasn't always there because he took turns with the very kind Pita and with the 2 girls. The bar guys were very kind and polite.

Room was perfect for my husband and I, and the location is amazing. -The beds are super comfy. -The suites are decorated wonderfully. -Good-working air conditioner -Food and drinks are amazing at the Tavern -Check-In was supposed to be 3pm and we arrived at 5:30, they didn't have a room ready for us. -First morning someone was smoking in their room and set off fire alarms, so we had to evacuate (no fault of the hotel, just super inconvenient at 7am) -Also, on the first morning (Saturday) a man showed up knocking on the door at 11am telling us we had to leave, because we missed check-out. We were paid and reserved until Monday. -dishes in the cabinets were dirty, but I could have washed them had we chosen to use them, there is soap and a fresh sponge ready to use. -Hotel hallways smelled like Marijuana our entire stay. Overall, I loved the actual suite, especially for the price and would 100% stay again just for the amazing rest we got and the location

Metropole Suites South Beach can receive packages 7 days prior to your arrival, not before. All guest will be charged $5.00 (plus tax) per package after the fifth package. We are happy to accommodate your package receiving request, but we are not responsible for loss or damages. We suggest that guest purchase package insurance. You are responsible for claiming the package at check-in time and every time you are notified by the carrier that the package has been delivered to the hotel. You can request packages from 9:00 am - 7:00 pm at the reception.
