I'd been looking for a new Music Man Luke 3 guitar for a while. There were 2 in south Florida... one at Guitar Center in Hallandale and another down in Kendall at Miami Guitars. Guitar Center was closer so I went there first (biggest mistake ever). After being ignored for 30 minutes, I was given the enormous privilege of looking at their Luke 3, which had a chipped headstock and some other wear from prior customers. I tried to work out a reasonable deal with the used-car salesman Manager, but then he realized they had no case for the guitar. Tired of wasting time, I called Miles at Miami Guitar. Miles was great to deal with and I drove down to the shop a few days later. It's a small place, but they make the most of the space. Gorgeous instruments and racks and racks of inventory in the back, all stored away safely in the shipping boxes. They brought out their Luke 3 for me to check out and it was immaculate. A few minutes later I was heading down the road with my new guitar (which is the nicest I've ever played, BTW). Zero stress. Amazing experience. Wish they were closer to my house, but then again, I'd probably end up with (even) more guitars than I need. Can't recommend highly enough.
