I had my son at HBC a few weeks ago and can't say enough how amazing the experience was. Agueda was my midwife, she is incredible. I had some trouble making it to and through labor at certain points (nothing alarming just stalled here and there), my baby didn't arrive until 42 weeks so naturally I had alot of anxiety as the days went past 40 week mark- and she as well as the birth assistant went completely above and beyond what a midwife normally does to help bring my son peacefully into the world the way i wanted so badly for him. It was a challenging process for me but they were so supportive and caring, i felt so safe and loved every step of the way. Agueda is truly an amazing soul and meant for this work. Cannot express enough how happy i am with her, and the entire HBC in general, they are an amazing birth center that carry a higher intelligence on how babies can and deserve to be brought into this world. I'm Forever grateful.

I would absolutely recommend this place to give birth in. They are accommodating, they listen to your concerns and you are not just one patient with a 15 minutes time frame like you would be in a hospital.

To put into words in this small space how amazing my birthing experience was with Viviana Jaramillo at Hollywood Birth Center would be an impossible task. I came to Hollywood Birth Center mid pregnancy with my unexpected blessing. From the moment I had a meeting with Debbie about a home birth, I knew I was meant to be there. Although each and every midwife I met was amazing, the moment I had an appointment with Viviana I knew that she was the woman that was going to help me bring life into this world. I felt an instant connection with Viviana and then requested her as my primary midwife, and all other appointments were with her, along with her moving mountains to make it to my house for the birth of my son. Viviana is meant to be a midwife. She is not only an incredible midwife, but an amazing human. She radiates positivity. The warmth and nurturing spirit she has allowed me to feel supported throughout my entire pregnancy and then able to birth my son at home. I could have never done a homebirth without Viviana's expertise and loving assistance. I experienced hospital births with my two other children, and knew that was not the route I wanted to go this time around. My birth was not an easy nor quick one, and in my weakest moments I thought I would not be able to keep going, but with her love and guidance I was able to stay motivated to birth my son my way. Her vast knowledge and help is immeasurable. Viviana's attention to details during my birth was amazing and comforting. I knew both my baby and I were safe every step of the way. Viviana was hands on from the start. I was never alone, and was loved and cared for throughout my pregnancy, labor, and post partum care. I feel blessed and empowered knowing what my body was able to do. Viviana is quick and during any unexpected moment knows how to react and respond. When I stalled during labor, she knew exactly what positions to have me do, that helped me progress. When I felt like I was going to give up, she was my biggest cheerleader, along with my husband and my incredible student midwife Micah. I could not have asked for a more loving and supportive birthing team. I was treated with love, respect and dignity during my entire birthing experience. No question was off limits, and I was never made to feel like a bother with any questions or concerns I had. I am proud to say that Viviana was my midwife and now will forever be a cherished friend in my life. She is an angel in the flesh and I know the world is a better place because she is in it. I have no words to express my gratitude to the Hollywood Birth Center. I am from Brazil and I had very bad experiences with American doctors! I was really insecure about having a hospital birth, mainly due to the lack of care and attention to the patient in the regular system. It was then that I decided to get to know HBC better and I was enchanted from the first contact. The entire staff is extremely attentive, affectionate and mainly human. Prenatal care is wonderful, consultations last 40 minutes and they are really concerned about your well-being. My birth was at home and I wouldn't have made it if it wasn't for the support of Midwife Miriam Maldonado (she's amazing). I highly recommend it! Thank you so much HBC!
