But I know there's usually quite a backlog of jobs to be done and the ones that have the insurance would take first place. Most likely they can fix anything that's wrong with your phone, but I wouldn't expect it to happen within 24 hours

Its irritating when people call it jail breaking/broken. Fire TV sticks run a fork of android so its called root/rooting/rooted. However most these people selling "jailbroken" fire tv sticks are just sideloading a fork of kodi on it, nothing more. It is illegal to sell them fully loaded like this so no I wouldn't expect best buy to be selling them like that.
