Goodbye to the only tourist railroad in Northern Central part of PA. I rode the train a few times as a kid and recently in 2016. I liked that trip. The ex D&H engine was retired before the 2016 trip unfortunately. My bf at the time loved it. Yes the cars need some living but for the location the rr was pretty decent. If I knew what I knew now I'd rode the train out of the old NYC station even if that was very dirty lived. Thanks to covid, G&W management over the TCRR and and prolly other reasons that Tioga Central ended. :( They will be tearing up the tracks from Wellsboro Jtn to the station soon. Rail Trail freaks won again. :( I rem TCRR in Owego NY as a kid. Did you know that they ran out of Owego before Wellsboro????

This was our second year taking the train ride. We enjoyed the regular ride last year so we upgraded to the dinner ride this year. The meal and service was acceptable if not inspired. My main complaint was the entertainment. Some duo called …

Ride was fun to spend time with family. View was ok. The food was good, but precooked as it probably has to be. The service was nice. We were next to screaming kids which I understand is out of their hands, it was just a little loud.

We had a great time on the dinner train. The sights were great and the food was amazing! I still need to call and ask for their green bean recipe. We went for our anniversary and it was perfect!!

I think it runs May to October, with new menu's every 2 months. See their website for details.
Not that I of.
They don't hold the rides at all anymore
That I don't know when we were there in Aug all tours were cancelled because covid. You will need to Google them the answer. Best of luck
I'm not sure. I will check today when I am in that part of town.

The waiters and waitress should be tipped for their services at the end of the journey. During my dinner train, the service we received from a young man, was very much on par with a fine dining restaurant.
Sorry, I am not.
There's no security, but there's also nothing to worry about there. Lock your doors and you'll be fine.
As far as i know, these questions go to people who have gone on the railroad, not to the owners (unless they happen to participate as well). Try contacting them directly.
