I would, though I don't have an RV. But I have lived next to it and used the Park regularly (daily/weekly) for 37 years and have had many visiting friends and relatives stay there. All thought it was a wonderful, reasonably priced place to stay with lots of activities nearby.

There are two entrances to Wickham Park. The first which most consider to be the "main" entrance is off of Parkway drive upon entering the park ranger station is to the right and they handle what goes on in the park events reservations ect. The second entrance is on Wickham road which takes you past the senior center in the park.

I would not do that in Florida. Gators can get in any body of water, even fenced ones. I do not know if they have had amoeba there, but they had them at another lake just down the road. Never swallow or submerge your head.

I haven’t been this year but in prior winters have seen organized RV boat races on the lake and folks flying Cr planes. We enjoyed watching them. I would call the office. The staff are very nice.

Reservations are best. You can take your chance and use a covered area, but you may end up moving if someone had previously reserved that spot. However, there are literally a hundred spots with a picnic table and grill available that don't require reservations.....
