You can park a camper in the lot where they have beach access in a couple of places. I have parked my 35ft trailer and left it there while I drove to the restaurants and to the pier.

Shark population near the beach doesn't seam high, but keep in mind that there are many fisherman and women casting bait out off the piers 24/7 and with food comes predators. It's best to always be aware of your surroundings when in the ocean. Great waves and would definitely recommend catching a few π€π

The pier closes dec 2 until i think late Feb early March ...unless you buy a season pass to fish...then u have access year round...some trout, puffer fish is what i heard a person catch a little earlier ...like and follow Surf City Pier on Facebook for regular updates..

Yes...leash only. Seen a lifeguard patrol stop and tell some dog owners to leash their two purse dogs that happened to be laying down in front of them. Pier is a no go for pets.
