My boyfriend & I have lived here for a year and we have been nothing but satisfied. This was perfect for our first apartment together. Everything since move in day has been great. The staff is really sweet and Javier toured us & has been great with helping us get adjusted to our home. The maintenance team is super responsive and quick. Overall, I am super grateful for CEV Wilmington!!!

(2/2) Now you may be wondering, why were they in your apartment in the first place? They were giving a tour to a potential new tenant--I lived in a 2 bedroom and my roommate at the time had just moved out. I already had another roommate lined up, and both of us had been in communication with CEV and Jennifer Summers about her moving in. We were BOTH told that if she filled out an application, they would hold the room for her. So it was quite a surprise when someone from the leasing office called me only TEN MINUTES before they brought someone to see the room. I called back as soon as they left, and was told it must have been a "miscommunication." A miscommunication that happened several times, from several sources to both my soon-to-be roommate and I. I told them that I had not yet signed my lease renewal, and would not be doing so if they gave the room to someone else. Well, I truly and sincerely wish I had not signed (though they obviously backtracked once more when I informed them I would not renew, promising to hold the room). Living here was truly an awful experience, and moving out wasn't much better. When my former roommate moved out I requested to switch to her old room, and was granted permission to do so. They called and asked about any damages in the room, which I reported to them. I should have taken pictures though, as I was hit with a $1000+ charge upon move out. Some of it was valid--we did leave items in the refrigerator, and my cat left a lot of damage on the chair that belonged to CEV. I fully expected to have to pay for the chair and some minor cleaning fees, but they charged me for damages to the bedroom that were left by my former roommate. They also charged me for the entire couch, which I know for a fact did not have damage from my cat (or at all). When I emailed them FOUR separate times requesting a better image of the couch (it was a very low quality image, I couldn't make out a single thing) and that all charges from the bedroom be removed, I did not receive a single response. I also tried calling, to which I was told I would receive a call back from Jennifer. Obviously, this did not happen. Eventually I gave up and ended up paying for the damages, since I did not have pictures and to avoid the charges being sent to collections. This is the absolute WORST apartment complex in Wilmington. I definitely understand why people make the face they do when I tell them I lived there--its reputation accurately precedes it. If you read all of this and still choose to live here, good luck. I literally used a different google account just to be able to post this review and warn people. WORST EXPERIENCE, WORST STAFF

Old and unmaintained and very Dirty apartment. Roaches every where, bathroom and kitchen. nothing like what they show you in the model one. most of people around are ok, but you get these impossible loud students that destroy the little things that are left to enjoy.

Trash everywhere. Roach infested. No central air in the summer. Management is horrendous and clueless. Upper management is corporate. Your just another dollar sign. Refrigerator broke and they never sent anyone to fix for 2 months. No wonder the other maintainence. Worth $300 a month if that!
