Love the colors, flowers and the atmosphere. Food is delicious, service is friendly.

Very OK. The Ivy is one of those LA places that live off what it used to be rather than what it is now.

Service was great. Passion fruit Martini was excellent. For two entrees, one sea bass and a hamburger with two cocktails and a root beer, $170.

I agree with Steve. You mustn't interrupt the celebrities while dining. Most people there are in the entertainment business anyway and know one another. When I was a talent agent, I had dinner there one evening with a client and Michael Jordan came in with Charles Barkley, Scottie Pippen and Hakeem Alajuwon. Mike had retired and Scottie was playing with the Houston Rockets with Charles and Hakeem. They were in town to play against the Lakers. Charles Barkley sat right behind me. Charles bumped my chair all evening long. I didn't say anything and he eventually apologized. Because The Ivy is small and quaint, I guess he needed a little more leg room. It was a pleasure to see all of them laughing, joking and enjoying their meal. I was at The Ivy about a month ago and didn't see any famous faces. Sometimes you may catch someone and sometimes you may not. All in all, it is a wonderful place to eat and enjoy the atmosphere. 😊
I didn't see any. The tables are pretty close together. It may be difficult to have a dog.
Is closed on Mondays
Yes.
I believe the least expensive salad is about $40 and a Ribeye can go as high as $150 per plate. The ambiance is beautiful, however I have had better high end dining in Los Angeles for those prices.
At theivyrestaurants.com you can order that and food
Expensive, but worth it, if you can afford it.
(Spanish)Sí(English) I speak a little Spanish and I saw the og was in Spanish so I thought why not
At the risk of getting flayed alive... I would suggest that this really is not an appropriate place to bring children who aren't old enough to sit in a chair and use utensils. Why? Because to say the tables at the Ivy are close together is wild understatement! There are mere inches between tables. A fussy (or worse) child (of any age) in such cramped quarters would be as welcome as a turd in a punch bowl. It's not that I hate your children. But I really don't want them having a meltdown in my $50 lobster cobb. 😉
Casual. Weekend evenings you need to book further out. Lunch and dinner midweek should be fine.
The chocolate chip cookies are the most famous one
