We do offer notaries! You can request a notary appointment on our website.

You can print wirelessly under the "how do I' tab on our website and select "Print wirelessly." From a smartphone, you can also download the "Smart Alec" app to print straight from your device.

We do accept volunteers at the library! You can go to our website under the "How do I" and explore all the volunteer opportunities at OCPL!

You can leave and come back and get additional time. I have done it before

You can get a free OCPL library card if you are a Jones County resident.

Just your photo ID and something with your current address. 😁 Anyone over 5 can get a card; but under 18 can't check out DVDs

You can donate books to OCPL! If the staff can add it to the collection, they will. If not, it will be donated to the Friends of the library for the used book sale which supports the library and its programs. OCPL does not accept textbooks or encyclopedias.

No there are not

The library does not own any of the specific titles you mention. I know because I spent less than a minute looking them up in the online library catalog. You, too, may look up titles that way. I highly recommend it. The library system does own a number of titles in the Braun series.

From library website: Do you have a fax, copier, and printers?Yes, all three services are available at all four of our library locations. Faxes: Incoming or outgoing faxes are a $1 per page. Fax service is available through the public service desk at each branch location.

From library website: All OCPL branches (Jacksonville, Richlands, Sneads Ferry and Swansboro) have public computers and Internet Access. For visitors and those who are unable to obtain an OCPL library card, a two-hour visitor pass for computer use may be purchased for $2 from our Smart Kiosk™ Convenience Centers. Black and white and color printing is available for the cost of $0.20 per page.
